Overview

This update introduces quality-of-life improvements to the POS system, including real-time clock display on the home screen and a new email template for scheduled sales summary reports.


New Features

1. Display Current Time on POS Home Screen

    • A new configuration is now available in Settings > Configurations > Advance:
      • “Show the current time on the POS Home Screen”
      • Option to choose between:
        • 12-hour format (e.g., 2:00 PM)
        • 24-hour format (e.g., 14:00)
    • Once enabled, the POS home screen will display the current system time, helping staff quickly reference time without leaving the interface.

      2. Updated Scheduled Sales Summary Email Layout

      • Email now includes:
        • Store name in the subject
        • Clear date/time range of the report
        • Clean, professional formatting for better readability
      • No additional setup is required if your location already has scheduled email reports enabled.

        Installation

        • Update your POS client to the latest version.
        • To enable the time display feature:
          1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Configurations > Advance
          2. Check “Show the current time on the POS Home Screen”
          3. Select preferred time format (12-hour or 24-hour)
          4. Click Save
