Roles – Job roles will assign the permission each employee has and can be assigned a wage based on their role. – Tips can also be assigned to the roles if using tip pools. – Multiple roles can be assigned to an employee if needed. – By default Admins have full access to the system. Add a New Role 1. To add a new role you will click on the + button under the ALL ROLES. You will need to enter a name for this role and assign it a permission group. By default the system will assign Admin from the permission group. 2. Click CREATE on the screen. These are the only mandatory items needed for the role. 3.When done click SAVE if updating or CREATE when adding a new role. Tip Pool 1. Enter a Tip Rate based on a rate from 1-100, you can set this based on Regular time and Overtime. 2. Max Tips will allow you to cap the tips earned per hour. This can also be based on Regular time and Overtime. 3. When done click save if updating or create when adding a new role. Role Wages Employee can be assigned a wage based on the role that they are assigned. By default the roles are not assigned a wage. 1.Select the Hourly Wage box to activate this feature. 2.Enter the hourly wage for the role.Select Daily Overtime if employee will be able to earn overtime on a daily basis. 3.Assign the Overtime rate that will be used to calculate the Overtime. 4.Enter an amount of hours that the employee will need to have worked before they can earn overtime on a single day. 6.When done click save if updating or create when adding a new role. | > Blogic POS Dashboard > Employee > Manage Roles |
Manage Permission Groups The Permission group will delegate the access an employee can have to the system. Permissions are broken down into two sections, the POS Dashboard and Point of Sale. Add a Permission Group 1.To add a new Permission you will click on the + button under the ALL Permission Group. 2.Enter a name for this permission. 3.When creating a new permission nothing is selected. 4.Once done click on create if adding a new permission or save if updating permission. POS Dashboard The POS Dashboard will give employee access to the dashboard based on the selection selected for the role. If no selections are selected from the dashboard section of the system employees will not be able to access the dashboard. Point of Sale The Point of Sale permissions is broken down by Transaction, Prior Save/Submit Ticket, Features and Credit cards. – Transactions will grant permissions to the employee to manipulate transactions on the POS based on the permission assigned. – Prior/Save/Submit Ticket permission group allows the employee access to adjust the ticket, print and submit the ticket for the order based on the permission assigned. – Features will allow specific features to the employee based on the selection. – Credit Card permission will allow access to the credit card access of the system. | > Blogic POS Dashboard > Employee > Manage Permission Group |
