How to Issue a Gift Card?

1. Open the Point of Sales (POS) System
   • Navigate to the Gift Card section.
2. Enter Gift Card Information
   • A screen will appear prompting you to input gift card details.
   • You can either swipe the gift card or enter the details manually.
3. Issuing the Gift Card
   • After entering the card details, proceed to the next screen to issue the gift card.
   • This screen will display:
     • Balance: The current balance of the gift card.
     • Amount to Load: Enter the desired amount to add to the gift card.
4. Payment for the Gift Card
   • After entering the amount, move to the payment screen to process the payment for the gift card.
   • Multiple payment methods are available:
     • Cash
     • Credit
     • Other
   • In the provided example, the Cash option was used.
5. Complete the Transaction
   • Once payment is successful, the system will navigate to the “Issue Successful” screen.
   • This screen will display the following details:
     • Card Number
     • Previous Balance
     • Issued Amount
     • New Balance
   • Options available:
     • Done: To complete the process.

     • Total by Day: Summarizes daily totals for gift card activities, such as the total issued, redeemed, and remaining balances.
