Overview

This release focuses on improving reporting capabilities and enhancing discount management within the BLogic View system. Users now have greater control over scheduling the “Items Sales By Employee” report and can manage a wider range of discounts directly from the dashboard.


New Features

  • Customizable “Items Sales By Employee” Report Scheduling:
    • Users can now schedule the “Items Sales By Employee” report (located under Setup > Report Scheduler) for daily or weekly delivery.
    • Configure specific delivery times, select delivery days (for weekly reports), and manage recipient email addresses.
    • The report can only be attached in Excel format.
    • Activate or deactivate schedules independently for daily and weekly frequencies.
  • Enhanced Discount Management:
    • Create an unlimited number of pre-defined discounts on the dashboard.
    • Set discounts by percentage (%) or a fixed amount ($).
    • Customize discount descriptions and set the display order.

Improvements

  • Discount Synchronization: Discounts created on the dashboard are now automatically synced to the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • POS Discount Functionality:
    • POS users can apply discounts to individual items or the entire transaction.
    • Discounts are easily selected from a list with clear descriptions.
  • Updated Discount User Interface (UI): The UI for the discount function has been modernized for a better user experience.
