Release Notes – v7.2025.11.04
Overview
This release focuses on two areas: a refreshed POS Login & Time Clock UI with store logo support managed from BLogic View, and the ability to accept partial payments by Gift Card on POS. These changes improve brand presentation at sign-in and add flexibility at checkout.
New Features
- Updated POS Login & Time Clock UI (Brandable)
- New dark-themed layout for Login and Clock In/Out screens.
- Store logo can be uploaded/cropped in BLogic View → Branding & Customization and displayed on POS.
- Accept Partial Payment by Gift Card
- Redeem gift cards for full or partial amounts at checkout.
- Partial Redeem screen appears when entered amount exceeds the card’s balance, with fields for Card Number, Current Balance, Redeem Amount, and keypad.
- System updates New Balance and Remaining Due and continues with existing multi-tender flow.
- Tip priority: applies the entered amount first, then any remaining balance to Tip; Amount + Tip never exceeds Current Balance.
- Blocks payment at $0.00 balance with message: “Fail: The value to redeem exceeds the balance of the card!”
