Enhances KDS to improve ticket visibility and operational awareness in the kitchen workflow.

New Features

Display On-Hold Items within Ticket (KDS)

This feature allows stores to control whether On-Hold items are displayed on KDS tickets.

ConfigurationBehavior
EnabledKDS displays On-Hold items within the ticket.
DisabledKDS does not display On-Hold items.

This helps operations decide whether kitchen staff should see items that are temporarily placed on hold.

Helpdesk

To enable or disable this feature:

  1. Go to POS Dashboard
  2. Navigate to:
    Settings → Prep Printers & KDS → Tab KDS
  3. Enable the option:
    Display On-Hold Items within Ticket
  4. Save the configuration

After enabling, On-Hold items will appear directly within tickets on KDS. If disabled, those items will be hidden from KDS view.
