  10. FAQ

1) Open the Items list

  1. Launch POS Dashboard.
  2. Go to Products on the top menu.
  3. Under CATEGORY / ITEMS, you’ll see your item list.

2) Select the item you want to print

  1. In the left list, click the Category that contains your item.
  2. Click the row of the item you want to print labels for to view its details (it will be highlighted).

3) Go to the SKU tab

  1. On the right panel, click the SKU sub-tab.
  2. Confirm the item’s SKU field is populated (use Generate SKU if needed).

Tip: The barcode on the label encodes the SKU value. Ensure it’s the code your scanners expect.

4) Choose a label printer

  1. In Barcode Printing, open the Printer dropdown.
  2. Select your Printer.

5) Pick a label template

  1. In Label Section, click Browse.
  2. In the template gallery, click a template that matches your label size and barcode type (e.g., BLogic_1-25×2-25_Code128_c).
  3. Click Select.

Note: Templates indicate size and barcode symbology (e.g., 1.25 x 2.25, Code 39, Code 128). Pick one that matches your physical labels and scanner capabilities.

6) Preview the label

Click Preview to open a live preview of the selected template with your item data.

Tip: Use Preview to verify price, item name, and that the barcode renders clearly.

  1. In the Preview window, click Print Test to send a single test label to the selected printer.
  2. Confirm print quality, alignment, and scannability.

Common fix: If content is cut off or too small, adjust the label size in your printer driver settings and re-select a matching template.

7) Set number of copies

In Copies, enter how many labels you need (e.g., 5).

8) Save your changes

Click Save (bottom right of the SKU tab) to keep your printer and template selections for this item.

FAQ

1) My labels are misaligned or cut off—what should I do?
Check the Windows printer preferences for correct label size and orientation. Then re-select a matching template and try Preview → Print Test again.

2) Can I print multiple copies at once?
Yes. Set the Copies field to the desired number, then print. Use a small test run first to validate size and clarity.

3) How do I add custom label templates?
In the template gallery, click Import Templates.
