3. Main Content
3.1 Configure staff service capability
- Go to Sensa Calendar → Staff.
- Click Add Staff or Edit an existing staff member.
- Scroll to Ability to Perform Services (under Booking).

Option A — Allow all services (default)

- Turn ON Can perform all services.
- Click Save.
What it means
- This staff member can be booked for any Service.
What happens when booking / creating appointments
- In Sensa Calendar (New Appointment):
- The staff will appear in the Staff list for all services.
- In Sensa Booking (Web/Mobile):
- The staff will appear as an available option for all services (when customers reach the Staff step).
- If Skip the Staff is enabled, the system can still assign this staff for any service.
✅ Best for: staff who can perform most/all services, or when you do not want restrictions.
Option B — Restrict to specific services

- Turn OFF Can perform all services to show the service selection panel.
- Use Search services to find categories/services.
- Select services using:
- Category checkbox (select all services in that category)
- Service checkbox (select individual services)
- Select All / Clear All (quick actions)
- Click Save.
What it means
- This staff member can only be booked for the specific services you select in the panel.
What happens when booking / creating appointments
- In Sensa Calendar (New Appointment):
- If a service is selected first, this staff will only appear if that service is in their allowed list.
- If you select this staff first, the Service dropdown will only show the services they are allowed to perform.
- In Sensa Booking (Web/Mobile):
- Customers will only see this staff for the services included in the allowed list.
- If Skip the Staff is enabled, the system must not assign this staff to services outside their allowed list.
⚠️ Important: If you forget to select services after turning this OFF, the staff may not appear for booking (depending on system rules).
✅ Best for: specialists (e.g., only Haircut, only Massage), training staff, or limiting certain services to specific staff.
3.2 Create appointments (Calendar validation)

When creating an appointment from Calendar grid, New Appointment, or Appointments → Add New:
- If you select a Service first → the Staff list shows eligible staff only.
- If you select a Staff first (restricted) → the Service list shows eligible services only.
If the selection is invalid, Save is blocked and you may see:
- “This staff member can’t perform the selected service. Please choose a different service or staff.”
- “No eligible staff available for this service. Please choose a different service.”
- “No eligible services available for this staff. Please choose a different staff.”
✅ Fix: change the Service or Staff selection until the error disappears.
3.3 Online booking behavior (Web/Mobile)

- Booking Web (Service → Time → Staff): Staff list is filtered to only show staff eligible for the selected service.
- Booking Mobile (iOS/Android): Same behavior as Web.
- If Skip the Staff is enabled in settings, the system must still avoid assigning an ineligible staff.
