How to Set Up Tax for Items in Online Ordering

Step 1: Open the POS Dashboard

Log in to the POS Dashboard.

Step 2: Access the Products Section

Navigate to the Products section.

Step 3: Select the Item

Choose the item that requires tax setup.

Step 4: Configure Tax for the Item

1. In the list of items, locate the row for the specific item.
2. Each row contains several columns for tax configuration based on Sale Types.
3. Look for the column labeled Quick Service Tax.

Step 5: Choose the Tax Setup

Select the appropriate tax setup from the dropdown. Options include different tax rates or Non-Tax if applicable.

Step 6: Apply Tax to All Items in a Category

You can also apply the same tax setup to all items in a category at once by selecting the category and configuring a bulk tax setup.

Step 7: Save Changes

Once the tax setup is complete, click Save to confirm the changes.
