Feature Overview
- When a user performs a long press (hold) on a table in the Full Service Layout, a dialog with available actions will appear.
- A new button labeled “Waiting For Server” will be shown (if enabled in the configuration).
- When this button is tapped, the table color will change to gray, signaling that the table is waiting for a server to assist.
- This gray color will persist until another action is taken on the table, such as creating an order or settling a bill.
- The feature is purely visual and does not alter order, hold, settle, or pending table logic.
Configuration in POS Dashboard
To enable this feature, follow these steps on the POS Dashboard:
- Go to Settings > Configurations > Advance
- Locate the new checkbox option:
- Label: Show the ‘Waiting For Server’ button when long-pressing a table on POS
- Default: Unchecked (false)
- Check the box to activate the “Waiting For Server” button on the POS.
- Checked → button will appear on the table long-press dialog
- Unchecked → button will be hidden

How to Set “Waiting For Server” Status

- Open the Full Service Layout on the POS, where the table list is displayed.
- Perform a long press (hold) on the table you wish to update.
- The system will display a dialog with the available actions.
- Tap the “Waiting For Server” button in this dialog.
- The table will immediately change color to gray to indicate it is waiting for service.
- The gray color will stay until you perform another action on the table (for example, starting an order or making a payment).
