1. Install the Sensa POS App
- On your Pax device, open the Pax Store app.
- In the search bar, type Sensa POS.
- Select the app from the search results.
- Tap Install.
- Wait until the installation completes, then tap Open.
Note: The app requires an internet connection to install and sync data.

2. Log in to Sensa POS
- Locate the Sensa POS app icon on your home screen.
- Tap to open.
- On the login page, enter your email and password associated with your Sensa Dashboard store account.
- Tap Login.
- If successful, you will be redirected to the Home screen.

3. Home Screen Overview
After logging in, you will see 4 main buttons:
- Appointments
- Opens the list of unpaid (checked-in but not paid) appointments.
- Batch Manager
- Allows you to search, view, and settle transactions.
- Batch History
- Provides a history of past batch settlements, including totals and details.
- Settings
- Lets you fetch store settings and enable auto-settlement.

4. Manage Appointments
Sync with Sensa Booking
- Clients can book services via Sensa Booking online system.
- Bookings first appear on the Sensa Dashboard under “Appointments.”
- To move an appointment from Booked → Checked In:
- Open the appointment.
- Click More Options → Check-in.
- Appointment instantly appears in Unpaid Appointments on Sensa POS handheld device.


View Appointment Details
- From the Sensa POS Home screen, tap Appointments.
- The Unpaid Appointments screen shows all checked-in customers.
- Tap a customer appointment.
- The Appointment Detail screen displays:
- Customer name and contact
- Appointment date and time
- List of booked services, assigned staff, and duration
- Price breakdown

Print Check
- Tap Print Check.
- The receipt prints immediately on the Pax device’s built-in printer.
- Useful for providing the client with a pre-payment summary.
Pay & Check Out
- Tap Pay/Check Out.
- Select the payment method and process the transaction.
- Client signs on the device screen.
- A prompt appears asking if you want to print receipts:
- No Receipt – Complete without printing.
- Print Receipt – Print customer copy.
- After printing, the transaction is completed and stored in the batch.

5. Manage Batches
Batch Manager
- Displays all current day’s transactions.
- You can:
- Search by transaction number, card number, or amount.
- Print Customer Receipt or Merchant Receipt.
- View transaction details (card type, approval code, etc.).
- Tap Settle Now to manually settle the batch.

Batch History
- View previous batches with totals for:
- Sales
- Tips
- Returns
- Totals
- Selecting a batch shows Batch Info and Batch Detail:
- Batch #, total transactions, and amounts
- Option to print batch summary
- Drill-down to individual transaction receipts on Batch Detail

6. Settings
- From the Home screen, tap Settings.
- Options available:
- Fetch Store Settings – Sync latest store data from Sensa Dashboard.
- Auto Settlement – Set a time for automatic batch settlement.
- Manual Update Store Settings button if needed.

7. FAQ
Q1: Why don’t I see my appointment in Sensa POS?
A: Ensure the status in Sensa Dashboard is changed from Booked → Checked In. Only checked-in appointments appear.
Q2: Can I reprint a receipt?
A: Yes. Go to Batch Manager, locate the transaction, and select Print Customer Receipt or Print Merchant Receipt.
Q3: Can Sensa POS work offline?
A: No. A stable internet connection is required to sync appointments and process transactions.
