- Split the ticket into two.
- If the option is enabled (checked):
The table timer resets to 00:00 and starts counting again. - If the option is disabled (unchecked):
The table timer continues from its original elapsed time. Splitting does not affect it.
Example 2: Automatically reset on first order submission (Waiting for Server)

- On Full Service Layout of POS, select a table.
- Long-press the table → choose Waiting for Server.
- Submit the first order for this table.
- If the option is enabled (checked):
As soon as the first order is submitted, the table timer resets to 00:00 and starts fresh. - If the option is disabled (unchecked):
The table timer continues from the time it was started when set to Waiting for Server, without resetting.
Scenario: Option is Unchecked
(Automatically reset the table timer on first order submission if table is ‘Waiting for Server’)
- Select Table 1 on the Full Service Layout.
- Long press the table → choose Waiting for Server.
- Wait for a while. You’ll see the table timer has been running for some time.
- Now, add items to the order and submit.
- Go back to the Full Service Layout and observe the timer.
=> Because the option is unchecked, the timer does not reset to 00:00.
