When guests are waiting to be seated, speed and clarity matter. With new Table Ready SMS Notification feature, hosts and staff can notify guests instantly via text message when their table is ready.

Steps to Send a Table Ready SMS
1. Locate the Guest

- Go to the Waitlist tab.
- Find the guest you want to notify.
- Each entry will display details such as name, phone number, guest count, and pre-order status.
2. Click “Send Ready Message”

- On the waitlist entry, click the Send Ready Message button.
3. Confirm the Action

- A dialog will appear:
“Are you sure you want to send the table ready SMS to phone number [phone number]?” - Select:
- Yes → SMS will be sent.
- Cancel → Closes the dialog, no SMS sent.
4. Success Confirmation

- You’ll see a notification: “SMS was sent successfully.”
- The waitlist entry updates with a Ready message sent marker.

Customizing the SMS Message
You can change the content of the SMS from the POS Dashboard:

- Go to Settings > Configurations > QR Code Dine-In.
- Scroll to Waitlist Notifications.
- Edit the SMS Content Template.
- Variables available:
{customer_name}→ inserts guest name{store_name}→ inserts your store name
- Variables available:
- Click Save to apply.
Example Template:
Hi {customer_name}, your table is now ready at {store_name}. Please proceed to the host stand to be seated.
Result:
“Hi Tom, your table is now ready at Vivot Craft Cafe. Please proceed to the host stand to be seated.”

Q: Why don’t I see the Send Ready Message button?
A: This feature requires an active BLogic license. Please contact your Agent or Support.
Q: Can I edit the SMS before sending?
A: No. The system uses the saved template. Update the template in the POS Dashboard if you want changes.
